For more years than I'd like to admit, I have started my day with the bad news about our country the Bradenton Herald has brought me. Fortunately I follow up with a chuckle the "Opinion" page and comics add to make me smile.
One recent morning was no different. I was shocked to find myself agreeing with Myra Jones (Sept. 9) on the "Ignore Political talk, check their record before voting" submission. Ms. Jones rants about Gov. Scott withholding information but I'll bet she voted twice for Obama, the grand daddy of secrets.
There is no doubt in my mind that had the Obamas' records been available in 2008 and 2012, we'd have a different president.
As far as I know we have no information of any significance on the Obamas, their college friends, grades, activities as attorneys, why they gave up their licenses to practice law or why no former classmates or friends have come forward to tell stories (good or bad) about them.
Never miss a local story.
It bothers me that no one remembers them. It doesn't appear either of them had a "real" job; everything was a gift, including the presidency.
Unfortunately the left-leaning media rarely expose the blunders and propensity for hiding the truth by the liberals in our government.
