In the wake of the controversies in the VA hospitals and wait times, wouldn't it be better to just issue our veterans an insurance card so they can get the medical attention they need from their own physicians?
This would stop the long waits and unnecessary deaths of our veterans. These men and women need help today, not five or six months from now!
By allowing them the option of seeking care closer to home and faster appointment times, it would eliminate the bonuses of the higher-ups and increase the care of those who served our country.
The money funding the VA would be better spent and easier to track if a separate insurance account was set up.
Just asking ...
