Kudos to Mr. John Molloy for explaining how to register to vote and the voting process with dates and everything! Cool! He also states in his letter it's time "...to take back our country." Take back our country from who, Mr. Molloy?
From all the other Americans who apparently also voted, but not in a way to your liking? Sorry, but your guys lost, and guess what? This is still America, and it's my country, too, and I'm proud of it even with its warts and blemishes like our do-nothing Congress.
This isn't your country, or even mine. This is our country, so stop this nonsense about it being for only people who think like you.
Yes, voting is necessary and a right we all share. I defended that right by serving in this country's Armed Forces. I'm retired military and also a Vietnam combat vet. We had a saying: I may not agree with what you say, but I'll fight for your right to say it. Think about that before you run off half-cocked with the belief this is just your country. It's not. She belongs to all of us.
