Immigration is the life blood of America. The women and children who risked their lives to come here are already better Americans than the nativists who shamefully protested their arrival out in California recently.
We should be applauding the courage and determination it took for these intrepid travelers to get here.
Instead, Republicans are refusing to work with President Obama to fix our broken immigration system. A humanitarian crisis at our border is the result.
