A short time ago, my friend and I (both in our 80s) were shopping at the Ellenton Outlet Mall. My friend passed out and slowly fell to the ground.
I cannot tell you how grateful we were when people came to help. A nurse, a woman who handed my friend her bottle of water, a mom and her son who gave me his cell number to call after I had brought the car around, a banana, a bottle of orange juice.
Two women carried a bench to us and picked her up off the ground. A store manager summoned a motor cart to get her to the car.
Their caring response to two strangers was overwhelming. We want to thank these people from the bottom of our hearts and applaud their truly Christian kindness. There is hope for humanity!
