Sharia Muslim Law governs the private as well as the public life of Muslims.
You have all read some of the facets of this law. Under this law, a Muslim man:
Can marry a child as young as 1 year old.
As a husband, he is allowed to have four wives.
Those who criticize or choose to stop being a Muslim could be executed.
Our federal government passed the "Jihad Prevention Act" in 2008. This bill indicated that the visa of any alien advocating the installation of a Sharia Law system shall be revoked.
The Florida Senate passed SB 386 stating that foreign laws inconsistent with the Florida and U.S. Constitution would undermine public policies and change our value system.
Our Florida Senate voted with 24 Republicans agreeing to keep Sharia law out of our legislative system, and 14 Democrats voted to allow it in our courts! The House voted 78 to keep out Sharia and 40 to allow it in our courts.
The bill was signed into law by Gov. Scott on Monday. The dissenting Democrats need to answer for their vote.
Someone needs to explain to me why Sharia Muslim Law would be acceptable in our courtrooms.
