My husband and I moved to Bradenton from Massachusetts almost 22 years ago. We adopted a Yorkie from Bishop Animal Shelter.
Since we were unfamiliar with any veterinary services, Bradenton Small Animal Hospital was suggested. We met Dr. Ed Dunham when he cared for our Yorkie "Moose."
Over our 20-year relationship, he cared for Moose who had diabetes and subsequent renal failure which claimed his life.
We also chose Dr. Dunham to care for our second Yorkie "Romeo" who, late in his life, was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. He lived two years after that diagnosis. The usual life expectancy is just nine months after diagnosis.
As a practicing ICU RN, I would have known immediately if his care was not the standard. Dr. Dunham was nothing but compassionate and professional in the 20 years my husband and I have known him.
If he still had an open practice he would be caring for our rescue Yorkie "Jojo."
