Blame, the dictionary says as a verb it means to assign responsibility for a fault or wrong and as a noun responsibility for a fault or wrong.
The Republicans love to blame. They blame the current president for everything.
Heck, there are people in Louisiana who blame him for the government's lack of response to Hurricane Katrina. Yes, they love to blame, but boy howdy try and "assign responsibility" to anything the last president did and they start kicking and screaming Benghazi or "$17 trillion." I find it interesting that they can't own, or, let's say, take "responsibility for a wrong."
Are Republicans really saying that things were rosy and grand until this president? And why do they so feverishly try and protect someone who did some really horrible things to this country?
The only time you hear Republicans even say Bush is when they complain that someone is "blaming him." At what point will they accept what he did and not call it blaming? Most likely never.
There is a time when it's not blaming, but merely pointing out the facts. The Republicans don't get that.
Let's say I go over to Tommy and Tony's glass house and throw a rock through a window; they see me do it and they "blame" me. I admit it, pay for it and that's it. Years later a friend brings up the story of me breaking the window; at that point he is not blaming me for the act but merely stating a fact.
Maybe some day Republicans will accept the facts of the past and president to whom the facts belong.
But I doubt it.
