What has happened to us? What makes a 71-year-old retired cop so enraged that he pulls out a gun over a disagreement and kills a young father?
Is it a narcissist response to someone who will not listen to us? Is it a basic disregard for others?
What makes seemingly ordinary people go off? It doesn't make me mad, it makes me sad.

I shouldn't be surprised that gun control does not progress in a responsible way. If we as a society can go on like nothing happened after 20 school children are assassinated, we are truly numb, and unfortunately as a populace we seem to be held hostage by the NRA.
