Our country is being run by presidential executive order.
No president, I repeat, no president, Republican or Democrat, should be allowed to run our country with such dictatorial powers.
The Constitution established our country with three branches of government, executive, legislative and judicial. They were to act as a system of checks and balances to prevent a dictatorship. Due to the failure of our education system, most young people don't know this.
Today, judges make laws, not rulings, and presidents issue executive orders.
Where is Congress? They are supposed to be the real lawmakers.
I know some will say they are too busy arguing politics to pass a bill. Good! We have too many laws.
When disasters happen or a good bill comes up, it amazes me how both parties can work together to get it passed. It is the bad bills that get bogged down, such as Obamacare. By large numbers, polls showed the people did not want it.
The trouble it had once it started proved the Republicans were right in trying to delay it. Even Obama himself delayed it.
Not only are we being ran by executive order, which was not the intent of our Constitution, but we are also being ran by regulatory committees which passed 141 new regulations in January, having the same statue as laws passed by Congress.
We, the voters, have no control over these committees. They do not answer to the voter. They are appointed.
Again, only Congress, which is supposed to answer to the voter, should be allowed to make laws.
We, the voters, need to stand up, put politics aside and demand our representatives to represent us as the Constitution states and not represent a political party. Put our best interests first, not the party's.
