Leadership is the greatest need in our country today. This conclusion is obvious after years of ballooning national debt, failed military campaigns overseas, and four years of economic depression and recession.
The lack of U.S. congressional leadership in the face of these problems is outrageous. Republicans and Democrats alike are determined to kill any bill proposed by the other party. You may argue that former administrations are responsible if you wish, but it is today’s politicians in D.C. who are failing to fix a leaky and sinking ship of state!
President Obama and both sides of the political isle have again approved deficit-spending in next year’s budget, an outrageous 50-year continuation of this country’s inability or unwillingness to live within its means.
The accumulated national debt will be $15 trillion, or $45,000 per person this year! It will take more than 50 years to liquidate this astonishing debt, even if Washington switched to non-deficit spending today.
But of course, we shouldn’t imagine this will happen under Obama’s leadership and vicious fighting between Democrats and Republicans in Congress.
If this disaster-in-the-making continues to deprive us of a prosperous economy, it will encourage unending street riots by the unemployed. Our economy is teetering between three years of depression following the economic disaster of 2008, and a few recent months of very slim income estimates.
This picture of Obama’s failures is clear, huge, and so elementary, who doesn’t see it? Want the picture to change? Demand local politicians representing us in Washington stop deficit spending now!
Every citizen can exercise leadership by using your pen, telephone and computer to join the fight for fiscal responsibility and a better future! Vote against Obama’s administration and for candidates who promise to support a balanced budget.
