I am certain others on the logical side of the political spectrum are as tired as I am of trying to get through to those who just can’t think things through.
A recent letter regarding the Wall Street mob stated: “These protesters are only seeking the equal opportunity for all, promised to them in the Constitution but currently denied them in the current economic climate of our country.”
Equal opportunity starts with ... get a job and work your way up (Cain, Gates, Murdock).
These folks aren’t being denied anything by Wall Street or the big businesses. This mob should be gathered in front of the White House and the Senate since it is regulation and high corporate taxation causing the “current economic climate”; they are the ones sending jobs to other countries.
It is the government’s job to provide the atmosphere for those with the spirit to succeed, not the financing. Even the “green jobs” that are being subsidized with our tax money are going abroad (Sunpower).
We need to be drilling for oil and using the resources we have while the private sector, at their own expense, works on “green energy.” If you build a better mouse trap, they will beat a path to your door.
We’ve been doing nothing while our tax dollars are squandered in projects the private sector should be financing (Solyndra). We shouldn’t be bailing out every big business that is failing as it takes away the incentive to work harder to succeed if we know “big brother” will do it for us (GM). Allow the free market to exist and stop interfering with successful businesses (Boeing).
