Scholarly letter writers offer information references, and in response to Sam Wade Sear’s letter, here is another “information reference” on Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Written by Jim Powell, a world renowned historian, his book “FDR’s Folly,” covers 19 chapters, with notes on pages 275-306. Selected bibliography are on pages 307-321. The book was published in 2003 and documents how FDR and his “New Deal” prolonged the Great Depression.
“FDR’s Folly” is easy to read and is a part of history of the United States.
