Who hired this company to do take down the Confederate monument? When hiring or taking bids isn’t it important to make sure the person or persons doing the work have all the proper insurances? I’m sure they would not overlook this if working on their home. Why was the monument moved at night?
Why are you burdening the taxpayer with the bill for repairs. The company hired to do the job should be liable and if they didn’t have the insurance to cover the damage then hold the officials who hired them since they signed the contract. I can’t believe the county officials would be so irresponsible and not ask for proof of insurance.
