This week, Manatee County commissioners officially approved a significant honor to one of the community's most respected and highly accomplished citizens, affirming his legacy. "The R.B. Chips Shore Historical Courtroom" commemorates the outstanding public service of the longtime county clerk of the court and comptroller, who passed away on July 29.
That date came only two weeks after the historic courtroom made a stunning debut after years out of service. This ranks as a monument to Mr. Shore's many achievements and his beloved status.
Tuesday's dedication ceremony featured a reading of a four-page proclamation that detailed his lifetime achievements and his contributions to Manatee County. Mr. Shore will be a role model and inspiration for future generations.
