MANATEE -- Cooler and drier weather is coming to Manatee County.
Bay News 9 meteorologist Josh Linker said Bradenton feel three degrees short of a record high for the day at 83.
The first of back-to-back cold fronts will come through Monday and drop temperatures into the low 70s. A much stronger front will arrive Wednesday, which will send temperatures plummeting into the mid-50s Thursday.
Morning lows Thursday and Friday will be in the low 40s around Manatee County with wind-chill values possibly in the 20s. Freezing temperatures are expected in the north counties.
Neither cold front is expected to bring much rain, Linker said.
