ST. PETERSBURG -- The string of sunny but cool days will continue Wednesday.
According to Bay News 9 meteorologist Juli Marquez, the colder, drier air is settling in to the Bay area and will remain in place for the rest of the week.
"Temperatures will be 10 to 15 degrees below normal," Marquez said. "But we will have a good deal of sunshine today with high temperatures approaching 60 degrees."
Early-morning low temperatures during the rest of the week will be in the 40s with some 30s in the northern counties. Patchy frost is possible in our northern areas late tonight and Thursday morning.
Winds are expected to die down by Wednesday afternoon.
It stays cool through the weekend with temperatures expected to rise to the low 70s by Monday.
