ST. PETERSBURG -- There may be a little more sun in the Bay area Tuesday, but you won't feel it.
According to Bay News 9 meteorologist Juli Marquez, the cold front passing through the Bay area will keep temperatures cool today and throughout the week.
"It will be chilly for the next several days. The winds are increasing with a risk of rip currents and a Small Craft Advisory today," Marquez said. "Temperatures will be below normal the rest of the week but we will have plenty of sunshine Wednesday and Thursday."
High temperatures today will be in the low 60s before dipping even cooler the rest of the week.
Morning lows the rest of the week will be in the mid to low 40s with some 30s in the northern Bay area counties.
It’s expected to stay dry the rest of the week.
