Meteorologists continue to predict scattered showers and thunderstorms in Manatee County on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
There's a 60 percent chance of rain throughout the day and into the night, with a high of 87 degrees, according to the Weather Service. Meteorologists projected rainfall amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, but said to expect higher amounts in the event of a thunderstorm.
However, residents can expect a partly sunny afternoon, the Weather Service said.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue into the night, with a low of 72 degrees, according to the Weather Service.
Expect rain for the remainder of the week, with a 60 percent chance of showers on Thursday and Friday, and a 50 percent chance on Saturday, the Weather Service said.
