Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely throughout the day and night in Manatee County on Tuesday and will continue through the week, according to the National Weather Service.
The day will remain cloudy, with a high of 86 degrees and a 60 percent chance of rain throughout the day, the Weather Service said. Meteorologists projected rainfall amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, but said to expect higher amounts in the event of a thunderstorm.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue into the night, with a low of 72 degrees, according to the Weather Service.
Expect rain for the remainder of the week, with a 60 percent chance of showers on Wednesday and Thursday, and a 50 percent chance on Friday and Saturday, the Weather Service said.
