MANATEE -- The stalled front north OF Manatee County is providing an onshore breeze pushing a lot of moisture in from the Gulf, which should make for a moist Friday.
“This will lead to numerous scattered showers/storms Friday morning,” said Bay News 9 meteorologist Brian McClure. “They will all have an eastward movement so most of them will end up moving inland and to the other side of the state by Friday evening.
After increasing rain chances Friday (70 percent) and Saturday (60 percent), there will be drier weather next week.
Conditions will turn drier and the timing of the storms will change, shifting to afternoons, McClure said..
