The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office posted to its Facebook account a photo of a five-foot long alligator crossing a Palm Coast street.
Note, the reptile properly used the crosswalk (wish that we could say the same for many two-footed South Florida pedestrians.)
The alligator made its 30-second walk Monday morning.
“He just walked in the crosswalk like it was normal,” said Sheriff’s Cpl. Kathy Goncalves.
Never miss a local story.
Why did the alligator cross the road? Obviously, to get to the other side.
But maybe the alligator’s asking why there is a road in the middle of his habitat.
