Sixth Avenue West between Third and Sixth streets: The road is open following work on the railroad crossing. However, crews will be re-doing asphalt the week of July 8, resulting in single-lane closures at night.
Ninth Avenue West between Third and Sixth streets: The road is scheduled for closure 8 a.m. July 10 through 6 p.m. July 14 for maintenance work on the railroad crossing.
State Road 64 from west of Carlton Arms Boulevard to west of Interstate 75: Crews continue improvements and paving from east of Carlton Arms Boulevard 2.5 miles to west of Interstate 75. Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for construction workers in the construction zone. The speed limit will be reduced from 50 mph to 45 mph through the construction zone. Crews may be performing work on Saturdays through the project completion, which is expected in the fall.
Cortez Road at 51st, 30th, and 26th streets west: Daytime and nighttime intermittent lane closures may occur 9 p.m. through 6:30 a.m. for an improvement project consisting of the replacement of drainage pipes and miscellaneous paving activities. Motorists should expect delays and be cautious of uneven pavement. The speed limit is reduced from 45 mph to 35 mph in active work zones.
