PARRISH — The new Manatee Diagnostic Center, at 11255 N. U.S. 301, will hold an open house 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday.
Equipped with state-of-the art medical diagnostic equipment, the new center offers screening mammograms, X-ray services and ultrasounds.
The new center is next to Publix Supermarkets in Suite 105.
Breakfast to benefit Safe Place
MANATEE — A pancake breakfast will be served from 8 a.m.-noon every Saturday at The Club House, 1292 68th Ave. W.
The cost of the pancake breakfast will be $3.
The Club House is a subsidiary of The Safe Place Inc., a nonprofit agency offering safe housing for recovering drug and alcohol addicts.
The Club House offers a place for 12-step meetings and social events.
