BRADENTON -- A Fort Lauderdale woman was arrested after demanding that police take her to jail and then punching an officer, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
Tonja Owens Stubbs, 48, was arrested at 11:17 p.m. Saturday in the 2600 block of Ninth Avenue East. According to a report, Stubbs walked in front of an officer's patrol car at the intersection of 27th Street East and Ninth Avenue East and began shouting at him to take her to jail and that, if he didn't, she would take the officer's gun and shoot him.
Stubbs then punched the officer in his chest, police said.
