MANATEE -- A convicted felon wanted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for being in possession of a firearm was arrested by deputies, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Brandon Williams, 30, was arrested at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday in the 3200 block of Eighth Street East. According to a report, Williams was spotted by a deputy and apprehended after a short foot chase and Taser deployment.
Williams was also in possession of marijuana and was charged with resisting arrest, according to the sheriff's office.
Booking information for Williams was not immediately available.
