MANATEE — Manatee County deputies are searching for three men who robbed C&J’s Adult Shop in Bradenton at 4:44 p.m. Wednesday.
The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said the suspects, ages 25-30, entered a store at 4949 14th St. W. One suspect, described as about 5-foot-8 weighing 160 pounds and wearing back and white basketball shorts and a black shirt with red logo, left the store before the crime.
The other two men stayed inside, deputies reported. A 5-9 suspect weighing 130 pounds and wearing blue jeans and a black long-sleeve shirt pointed a gun at the manager, according to the report. The suspect took cash from the register.
A third suspect, about 5-9, weighing 180 pounds and wearing a black T-shirt and shorts and a green beanie cap, stood in front of the register watching the door during the robbery. The men were last seen running northeast behind a Sherwin Williams Paint store, 4931 14th St. W., Bradenton.
