SARASOTA -- An 89-year-old woman went missing about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.
Lucretia Hoepfner, 5-foot-3 and 110 pounds with reddish brown hair, reported a missing endangered woman from Beneva Lake Healthcare facility at 741 S. Beneva Road, Sarasota. The missing woman has advanced stages of dementia and Alzheimer's and was last seen wearing a black and white long jacket, black slacks and pink and gray sneakers.
It is believed she is in the company of her husband, James Hoepfner, 76, who also suffers from early stages of dementia.
Subjects are believed to be traveling in a 1990 white Ford Taurus station wagon, Fl tag # E914GK.
Detectives are continuing the investigation. The subjects maybe in the area of south Hillsborough and/or north Manatee counties.
A Silver Alert was initiated and efforts are being focused in those areas.
