The staff of U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., will come to Manatee and Sarasota Counties on June 12 to assist constituents with issues with the federal government.
Staff members will be at Braden River Library, located at 4915 53rd Ave. E. in Bradenton from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on June 12, and then at the Venice Library, 300 S. Nokomis Ave. in Venice from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be open office hours with the staff, with no appointment necessary. A release from the office said the purpose of the office hours are to, "assist constituents with any issues they are having dealing with federal agencies or if constituents wish to leave a comment for the senator."
Rubio is currently running for president for 2016.
