MANATEE -- A bicyclist who deputies say was injured when he was struck by a stolen car during a chase last week has died, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Librado Perez-Leon, 61, died Monday afternoon, according to a news release.
The driver of the stolen car, Tippy McCullough, could soon face a new charge in the case, the sheriff's office said.
McCullough was arrested after stealing a car March 10 from a Bradenton car wash and leading deputies on a chase that ended after Perez-Leon was hit and injured, according to the sheriff's office.

A Cadillac was reported stolen from the Blue Dolphin Car Wash, 505 Cortez Road W., Bradenton, about 12:15 p.m. March 10, according to the sheriff's office.
The suspect, later identified as McCullough, 20, fled south to 57th Avenue East and headed east before turning onto 15th Street East, according to a news release.
As McCullough approached U.S. 301, her vehicle jumped the median to avoid traffic and headed north. The vehicle hit Perez-Leon as it was turning.
Some deputies continued the pursuit, while others stayed with the cyclist. Stop sticks finally brought the Cadillac to a halt in the 2400 block of 15th Street East.
McCullough faces multiple charges, including grand theft auto, leaving the scene of a crash causing serious injury or death and other traffic-related charges. She is in the Manatee County jail on bonds totaling $155,000.
