BRADENTON — Bradenton Police Department officers were outside two police cars at 11:28 p.m. Saturday when a vehicle rammed into the back of a patrol car.
BPD vehicle No. 64 was parked at 1000 Seventh Ave. E. when it was struck from behind by another vehicle, according to a Bradenton Police Department report. The impact caused No. 64 to slam into the back of BPD vehicle No. 20, according to the report.
There was major damage to No. 64 and moderate to No. 20, according to the report.
There were no injuries to people or to the police dog. The report does not indicate whether the unnamed driver was charged with wrongdoing in the incident.
