BRADENTON -- A Bradenton woman was charged with misuse of 911 after threatening to call 911 to get different officers on scene during a domestic dispute, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
Epifania Guzman, 25, was arrested at 6:03 a.m. Sunday in the 600 block of 17th Street East. According to the report, Guzman was arguing with the father of her children about custody. The father told an officer he didn't want to leave their children with Guzman because of the way she was acting and with one of her male friends at the home.
Guzman reportedly began yelling at officers saying she did not want them there. She repeated several times she was unhappy with the officers and threatened to call 911 to have different officers arrive. Police said Guzman went inside the home and called 911 despite officers instructing her not to do so.
Guzman was released Monday from Manatee County jail on $500 bond, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office website.
