BRADENTON — A Bradenton man has been charged with possession of a crack pipe, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
Anthony Triolo, 19, was arrested at 3:40 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of First Street East, Bradenton, according to the report.
Triolo was a suspect in recent theft of an iPad and the victim said Triolo worked at a KFC at 520 First St. E. about two blocks from where a tracker reported the missing iPad was.
An officer met with Triolo at KFC and asked if he knew about the missing iPad. According to the report, Triolo said he did not steal it and didn’t know who did.
When he consented to a search, deputies reportedly found a crack stem inside a Marlboro cigarette pack in his pocket, which tested positive for cocaine. Triolo told police that he should have stashed the crack stem prior to work.
Triolo was released Tuesday from Manatee County jail, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office website.
