BRADENTON -- A man has been charged with stealing a $100 bill from a bicyclist on 14th Street in Bradenton, according to Bradenton police.
About 11:34 p.m. Sunday, the victim was riding his bicycle in the 1800 block of 14th Street West, near the Gator Lounge, when he lost control of his bike and fell, according to a report.
As the victim was getting up, the assailant came to him, pushed him to the ground and took a $100 bill out of his picket. He then fled the scene, police said.
The victim ran north on 14th Street West and flagged down an officer.

Another officer saw a possible suspect go into the Gator Lounge. He followed him inside and found the suspect in the bathroom, police said.
"The suspect had given the $100 bill to the bartender in an attempt to get ride of the evidence," the report states.
The victim identified the suspect, who was not named in the report, as the person who robbed him, police said.
