MANATEE -- A woman was robbed of her purse after getting in a car with strangers at a Circle K early Wednesday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
The 42-year-old victim was at the Circle K store at 3300 State Road 70 when the suspects approached her and offered her a ride home at 2:40 a.m., according to a release. The woman got into the car with the two suspects.
The suspects then drove to an unknown location that deputies said they believe was in the area of the 4100 block of 26th Avenue East. The victim and the suspects got into an argument and they took her bag and told her to get out of the vehicle, deputies said.
The woman was not injured in the incident, according to the report.

The victim walked to several houses on 41st Street East asking for help and eventually got residents in the 2300 block to answer their door, the release said. They called the sheriff's office on her behalf.
The suspects were driving a late '70s Silver Oldsmobile Delta 88 and were described as two men, one in his mid 20s, six feet and three inches tall, 270 pounds with a tattoo on his left arm and the other between 40 and 50 years old, five feet eight inches tall and 150 pounds.
