MANATEE -- Deputies arrested a 22-year-old man charged with committing sexual acts with a minor, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
A 13-year-old resident of Manatee County was vacationing in Treasure Island with family when suspect Kyle Ostromecky of St. Petersburg began communicating with the victim through an online dating site, according to a release.
The two began to text one another and made plans to meet, according to deputies. Ostromecky drove to the resort, the victim sneaked out of his room and the two had sex. The minor then returned to his room.
A short time after the family returned home, the victim's parents were looking through his phone and noticed suspicious activity, according to the release. The victim told his parents what happened when they questioned him, and they contacted law enforcement.

On Thursday Ostromecky contacted the victim looking to meet up again and traveled to Manatee County, deputies said. Law enforcement met the suspect at a predetermined location at 10:12 p.m. where he was arrested.
Ostromecky is being charged with soliciting a minor for sex using a computer device, traveling to meet a minor for sex and lewd and lascivious battery. He is being held without bond at the Manatee County jail.
