SARASOTA -- The Sarasota Police Department is looking for three suspects involved in a jewelry theft that occurred July 29 in Sarasota.
A man and two women entered Estate Coin and Jewelry, 1650 Main St.in Sarasota at 4:50 p.m., according to police. The man immediately sat down and the two women began speaking to an employee about some bracelets.
One of the suspects, who is seen in a green dress in surveillance video, talked to and distracted the employee while the other woman, in a red and white outfit, took two bracelets and put them in her pocket, according to a release.
The women asked the employee to look at coins at the other end of the counter and as they passed the male the woman in red and white handed off the bracelets to him, according to police. The three eventually left the store without purchasing anything.

The male suspect is described as approximately 25 years of age with braided hair pulled and tied up. He was last seen wearing a blue Hawaiian type shirt and shorts.
The female wearing the red and white is approximately 30-40 years of age, 5’5 tall and very heavy set. She was last seen wearing a red and white horizontal striped shirt and red shorts. The female in the green is in her 50s and is described as heavy set.
