BRADENTON -- Twenty-five people have been arrested as part of an operation targeting suspects wanted on drug-related charges, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
Operation Déjà Vu was underway for about two months as investigators gathered intelligence on the whereabouts of 33 suspects with active warrants, according to Bradenton Police Deputy Chief Warren Merriman.
"Today we conducted an operation where we were able to find 25 out off 33 subjects that have active warrants," Merriman said. "The others, we are going to be looking for them."
The 25 arrests were made in various city locations as well as in unincorporated Manatee.
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office assisted in the operation, according to Bradenton police.
