A Bradenton man was robbed of a check at gunpoint, then brought back to a home where he was forced to smoke crack and another man tried to sexually assault him before he escaped, he told deputies.
The 19-year-old victim left his home around 6 p.m. to cash a check at Amscot, according to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office. The man stopped at the corner of 57th Avenue East and 15th Street East, where he met a stranger and told him he was on his way to cash the $20 check.
The man then pulled out a pistol, pointed it at the victim and told him, "Let's go get the money," the release states.
After cashing the check, the two walked to a house on 57th Avenue East. They went into a bedroom, where three other men were inside. The men began to talk about sex and forced the victim to smoke crack cocaine three times, according to the release.
One of the men then pulled out his penis and attempted to touch the victim with it, deputies said. The victim punched the man in the crotch, and one of the men then slapped the victim in the head.
Three of the men then left the room, but the first man stayed behind. The victim said he found a pipe in the bedroom, grabbed it, hit the man and ran out of the home.
The victim was not injured during the incident.
The original suspect is described as being in his 30s, wearing a white tank top and red shorts.
