Thanks to "abundant moisture streaming into region" and a tropical wave over the eastern Gulf of Mexico, showers and thunderstorms are likely Wednesday and Thursday in Bradenton, according to the National Weather Service.
The Weather Service said patchy fog before 10 a.m., will give way to partly sunny skies, with a high near 88.
The chance of showers and thunderstorms increases after 3 p.m., with the chance of rain listed at 60 percent, according to the Weather Service.

Wednesday night, the chance of rain increases to 70 percent. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 74.
Similar conditions are expected Thursday, when the chance of rain drops to 30 percent.
Friday and the weekend, the sunshine is expected to return, according to the Weather Service.
