MANATEE -- Tuesday should be sunny and hot in Bradenton, but the rains are coming later in the week, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters are calling for mostly sunny skies, with a high near 91. There is a 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5 p.m. and into the evening. The expected low temperature is 73.
But for Wednesday, the Weather Service is calling for a 60 percent chance of rain, including possibly a thunderstorm. The chance of rain will remain at least 40 percent through Thursday night, according to the forecast.
Sunshine -- and cooler temperatures -- will return Friday, with an expected high of 83. On Saturday, the high expected high is 80, again with sunshine.
