Three armed men stole cash and TVs from a pair of siblings who live together during a home invasion early Saturday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
The brother and sister, ages 25 and 28, and a visiting acquaintance were watching television around 3 a.m. when the incident occurred at their residence in the 300 block of 58th Avenue East, according to a sheriff's report.
When the visitor went to leave, three suspects armed walked past her through the front door, pointing their guns at the two victims and forcing them to lie on the floor while allowing the third woman to leave.
One of the suspects struck the male victim on the forehead with a firearm and demanded to know where his prescription medication was, according to the report.
The three suspects then ransacked the residence, taking $800, a 70-inch television and a 32-inch television before fleeing in an unknown vehicle.
The suspects are described as men between 5-foot-8 and 6 feet tall. Two of them had semiautomatic handguns, while one had a revolver, the report states.
The male victim denied treatment when emergency medical personnel arrived.
The investigation continues.
