BRADENTON -- Two people were arrested on drug charges after officers interrupted an apparent drug deal, according to Bradenton police.
About 8 p.m. Tuesday, officers with the Casual Clothes Unit in the 1200 block of 21st Avenue West saw Kirby Riley and Nedia Ehrler-Manzur making a deal, according to a report.
"When CCU members made contact with Ms. Manzur and Mr. Riley, Ms. Manzur had dropped some rock cocaine she purchased on the ground," the report states.
Officers were able to find the drugs, and a search of Riley revealed a vial of rock cocaine, police said.
Both were arrested.
Riley, 29, faces a charge of possession of drugs with intent to distribute. He is being held at the Manatee County jail on a $7,500 bond.
Ehrler-Manzur, 27, faces charges of possession of drugs, possession of tizanidine and possession or use drug paraphernalia. She was being held on bonds totaling $2,500.
