The lovebirds will marry Oct. 25, holding their wedding in our town's beautiful ballyard and saying "I do" on home plate.
Erin is majoring in early childhood education at State College of Florida and works at Mixon Fruit Farms.

Mike is a minor league assistant equipment manager with the Baltimore Orioles, which is cool, having gotten his start with future father-in-law, Pat Hagerty, the venerable minor league equipment manager for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Anyway, the couple knew each other since second grade at Moody Elementary School and have been sweethearts since their sophomore year at Bayshore High School.
They got engaged last Oct. 16, and it was memorable.
When Mike dropped to one knee, popped the question and opened the ring box, Erin's immediate reaction was one of amusement.
The ring box was upside down.
