For a retiree, Bob Delaney is one busy guy.
The ex-NBA referee, former undercover New Jersey state trooper and current author has been involved for some time with veterans and soldiers, speaking to them in the U.S. as well as in Iraq and Afghanistan about post traumatic stress disorder.
Then last Saturday evening, Delaney addressed Manatee High and Miramar High players at dinner before Sunday's nationally televised game on ESPN2.
On Monday he'll speak to Bayshore Elementary School fifth-graders about the legacy of 9/11 as part of his Bob Delaney Leadership Academy.
