Manatee County’s Adopt-a-Family has welcomed new board members Karen Fine and Patti Peotter-Bettes.
They join current board and officers: president Elaine Henneberry, vice-president Cindy Eliason, secretary Kim Duty, treasurer Jim Gay, along with Karon Clay, Barbara Huffman, Jayne Kench, Phillip Mears, Rosemary Murray, Dixie Schlensker and Mary Jane Shiplett.
Kay and Dick Sawdey and Lea Ricard are emeritus members.
Adopt-a Family is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization that helps needy families provide children’s gifts at Christmas.
