Number of graduates: 68
Graduate Speaker: Jeanne Cho-Hunicke, Alumna of the Class of 1999. The school has a tradition of having a previous graduate from 10 years ago come back and speak to the graduating class. Cho-Hunicke is now a professional golfer.
Shining Moment: Students waving to family members and teachers as they lined up and began walking. Graduates embraced each other before they entered the auditorium to take the stage and receive their diplomas. One teacher blew kisses as faculty lined up.
Best Quote: “You learn you’ve got to abide by other people’s rules sometimes,” said a smiling Tessa Spycher, who plans on attending New York University, when asked what she learned from high school.
Never miss a local story.
Interesting Sight: An entire row of friends and family members holding up signs with a student’s face plastered on them. Also the graduating class’ “Falcon Friends”, members of the 4-year-old, pre-school class, sang “We Go Together” from the musical “Grease.”
The students are paired with the 4-year-old children their senior year.
