MANATEE -- Four men were charged with leading deputies on a pursuit after a burglary at 11:44 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Darius J. White, 18; Christopher J. Taylor, 21; Amauntae Calloway, 17; and Jarques Calloway, 18, were arrested by deputies patrolling Sabal Harbour when they reportedly spotted a vehicle speeding from the neighborhood.
At the same time, the sheriff's office received a call on a burglary in progress with the same description as the suspect vehicle.
Deputies pursued the vehicle to the 100 block of Sixth Avenue East, where it turned westbound into eastbound lanes, struck another vehicle and became disabled.
Three of four suspects fled from the vehicle and were apprehended a short time later, according to the sheriff's office. The other suspect was taken into custody without a chase.
All four men were charged with burglary and resisting arrest. The driver of the vehicle hit by the suspect vehicle suffered minor injuries, according to the release.
Booking information for the four men was not immediately available on the sheriff's office website.
