MANATEE -- The Manatee County Sheriff's Office has released a video showing three suspects in the armed robbery of C&J's Adult Shop in Bradenton last week.
The video shows three men entering the shop, and one walking out of the store before the crime occurs. The second acts as a lookout at the front door as the third threatens the store clerk with a handgun and stands over him as he unlocks the register.
The three entered the store located at 4949 14th St. W. in Bradenton at about 4:45 p.m. on Aug. 19, according to a release. They stole an undisclosed amount of money from the register and no one was injured.
They were last seen running northeast behind Sherwin Williams Paint store, located at 4931 14th St. W., deputies said.
The man who threatened the clerk with the gun is described as between 25 and 30 years old, 130 pounds, about 5-feet and 9-inches tall and wearing blue jeans and a black long sleeve t-shirt. The lookout is described as between 25 and 30 years old, 180 pounds, about 5-feet and 9-inches tall and wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts and green beanie cap on head. The last suspect is between 25 and 30 years old, 160 pounds, about 5-feet and 9-inches tall and wearing black and white basketball style shorts and black shirt with red logo.
