BRADENTON -- A man was arrested after he called police on his ex-girlfriend, following an incident in which he tried to push his way into her home to get a modem Tuesday evening, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
Andrew Grzybowski, 24, arrived at his ex-girlfriend's residence in the 2400 block of Eighth Avenue West at 5:40 p.m. Tuesday, according to a release. He was trying to get a modem.
His ex-girlfriend told him to leave and tried to shut the door, but he pushed the door open, entered the home and pushed the victim, police said. The woman defended herself and was able to "fend off the suspect."
Grzybowski then called the police to report a battery committed against him and was subsequently arrested, according to the report. He was taken to the Manatee Memorial Hospital for medical clearance, and then take to jail.
